　デンマーク財政は、2006年に対GDP比3.6％の黒字を見込み、累積債務は28.1％まで減少すると見込まれている（2006年政府見通し）。

（4）ユーロ参加問題

　2000年9月の国民投票において、反対53.1％、賛成46.9％でユーロ参加が否決され、現在、デンマークはユーロ不参加である。ただし、 ERMII参加国として、自国通貨の対ユーロ変動幅を中心交換レートから上下2.25％内の変動に維持する政策をとっており、事実上、ユーロとの固定相場制を有している。
